Any Buyer Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (hereafter – The CRA) have a right to apply for the refund of the purchased non-faulty products. However, The CRA does not applicable for B2B relations (such as contracts, deals etc.) Under The CRA “Trader” means a person acting for purposes relating to that person's trade, business, craft or profession, whether acting personally or through another person acting in the trader's name or on the trader's behalf. According to the subsection 3 of The CRA “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside that individual's trade, business, craft or profession.

Carne Trade LLP reserve the right to refuse a cancellation and subsequent refund in their sole discretion if we believe in our reasonable opinion that this right is being abused (such as you are not genuinely using it just to evaluate the goods).

The CRA provides some exceptions that allow CARNE TRADE LLP not to give to a Buyer the right for cancelling or replacing products. These include perishable items or frozen foods, goods with a seal for health protection or hygiene reasons that have been damaged or broken the seal on the wrapping.

CARNE TRADE LLP is responsible for the goods condition until the moment they are received by a customer or any authorised person. Since that period of time a customer has 14 calendar days’ period when he/she may cancel the order and apply for the refund. Since 14 days’ period passed a Buyer may ask for the replacement of faulty goods only within 30 days of obtaining such goods. After 30 days the burden of proof that the purchased items were faulty switches to a Buyer. The returned items must be in the condition them been received. Otherwise the refund shall not be provided. CARNE TRADE LLP has a right to reduce the amount of refund due to damage or usage of the returned items in any way. The percentage of reduction will depend on the level of damage or usage of the returned items, please take into consideration that the percentage of the reduction might be up to 100 per cent.

In order to provide a refund CARNE TRADE LLP has a right to ask a Buyer for a proof of purchase. CARNE TRADE LLP shall give a refund to the Payer only. In case of refund the postal costs as well as proof of postage shall be imposed on a Buyer.

You may write us to the email address, in order to apply for the refund, replacement or the price reduction. Should the application for refund be successful Buyer will receive email message containing the instructions on how Buyer can return the purchased faulty items.

Purchased items should not be returned and refund should not be offered if:

  • An item was made to Buyer’s specifications, personalised to Buyer or labeled with the Buyer’s private labels;
  • An item cannot be returned for reason of its nature (i.e. an item has been opened or used in any way) or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • An item was damaged or marked in any way or have unreasonable wear or are otherwise not in a condition consistent with your having taken reasonable care of them;
  • An item is in a condition such that it cannot reasonably be re-sold at all or for more than 80% of their original value;
  • Buyer have not been able to return the goods with all packaging, contents, documents, and other items supplied with or as part of the goods, including any free gifts;
  • Buyer subsequently sell, transfer, hire or lend the goods or give ownership of the goods to any other individual or business;
  • An item is classed as a food or drink.

While applying for the refund, please make sure that you have attached the proof of postage as well as proof of purchase. Otherwise the refund period might be postponed. If a Buyer fulfill all requirements mentioned above the refund shall be obtained within 7 working days.

These refund policies must be considered as a part of our General Terms and Conditions and are applicable to items purchased online solely.
