We provide a range of international trade documents, including EUR1 Movement Certificates, Certificates of Origin and Customs Declarations.
A Certificate of Origin (CO) confirms the origin of the exported goods. It is usually issued for goods that are being sold abroad as a permanent export. Certificate of origin may be requested for commercial or customs reasons.
An Arab Certificate of Origin is issued for goods that are being sold and permanently exported to Arab League countries.
Please inquire about any other commercial document required for international trade in addition to the above certificate, either alongside the Certificate of Origin or as a separate document.
A UK Certificate of Origin is issued for goods that are being sold and permanently exported to non-Arab countries as well as Egypt and Iran.
Please inquire about any other commercial document required for international trade in addition to the above certificate, either alongside the Certificate of Origin or as a separate document.
An EUR1 Movement Certificate is used to support claims for preferential (usually zero) rates of duty in the country of importation. To qualify the goods must 'originate' in the UK and be supported by a correctly completed and endorsed EUR1.
As of 1 January 2021, any UK businesses involved in transactions with the EU via importing or exporting goods will have to declare their shipments to HMRC. This is done in form of a customs declaration, an official document, which lists exactly what is being imported or exported and provides information required to evaluate the safety and security aspects of the goods as well as to calculate and collect any applicable import duty and VAT.
